This project is for home automation. The author says it is hard and costly(time mainly) to build own home automation system. So the author posts to help user who want to build own home automation. The author is posting step by step over long period of time and it is not completed yet. He builds basic nodes: temperature and humidity sensors and RF module. And Wireless to Ethernet Gateway using MQTT.
This project are written in Japanese. IEEE1888 is the next generation BEMS and smart grid is developed for which is an international standardized open communication standard in 2011. And the IEEE1888 is used by HTTP and XML.
SAWA can be considered as a platform, with a set of services and web application. It uses XMPP Protocol to transport all sensor data in real-time, and allowing secure connections. Using XEP-060, Publisher-Subscribers paradigm it is possible to share data with multiple users with flexibility and scalability. This project uses soxlib with modifications from Sensor Andrew project.
